Uganda Nurses and Midwives Examinations Board (UNMEB) Releases December 2023 Results
The Uganda Nurses and Midwives Examinations Board (UNMEB) recently announced the results of the December 2023 semester exams, marking another significant milestone in the academic journey of thousands of nursing and midwifery students across the country. The release ceremony, officiated by Hon. J C Muyingo, was a momentous occasion, highlighting the dedication and hard work of both the students and educators involved.
A total of 54,864 candidates participated in the exams, showcasing the growing interest and importance of nursing and midwifery education in Uganda. Among these candidates, 50,609 were continuing students, while 4,255 were in their final semester, eagerly awaiting the culmination of their academic efforts.
Of the continuing students, an impressive 46,997 successfully passed their exams. This included 6,084 students who advanced at the Diploma level and 40,913 at the Certificate level. These successful candidates can now look forward to progressing to the next level of their academic journey, equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for their future careers in nursing and midwifery.
For the candidates in their final semester, the journey culminated in a significant achievement, as 3,958 out of 4,255 candidates successfully passed their exams. This accomplishment reflects their dedication and hard work throughout their academic journey, setting a solid foundation for their future endeavors in the healthcare sector.
As the Soroti School of Comprehensive Nursing (SSCN) eagerly awaits the release of their results next week from the academic registrar, the anticipation among the students is palpable. Each student will receive their results personally, underscoring the importance of academic achievement and the pride associated with it. However, the receipt of results is contingent upon the clearance of tuition fees for previous semesters, highlighting the importance of financial responsibility and commitment to academic excellence.
The release of the UNMEB results is not only a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students but also a reflection of the commitment of educational institutions and governing bodies to uphold standards of excellence in nursing and midwifery education.
