SSCN Leaders Engage in Mentorship Training at UNASNM's Kabale Meet
In a spirit of continuous growth and dedication to excellence, the Uganda National Association of Student Nurses and Midwives (UNASNM) has organized a transformative consultative meeting and mentorship training program. This exceptional event is currently taking place at the Kabale Institute of Health Sciences, spanning three enriching days from the 11th to the 13th of September.

UNASNM's commitment to nurturing the future of nursing and midwifery professionals has been steadfast. The annual consultative meeting and mentorship training program is a testament to their dedication in shaping the leaders of tomorrow in the field of healthcare.
A Gathering of Leaders:
The program has attracted a remarkable assembly of student leaders, with UNASNM's Branch Executive Committee (BEC), UNASNM Presidents, and Guild Leaders representing diverse nursing and midwifery institutions from across the nation. This confluence of promising talent promises dynamic discussions and knowledge sharing.
Expert Mentorship:
One of the hallmarks of this event is the presence of seasoned mentors in the field of leadership. These professionals bring with them a wealth of experience and wisdom, eager to guide and inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders.
SSCN's Delegation:
For Soroti School of Comprehensive Nursing (SSCN), four outstanding individuals were chosen to represent the institution. This select team comprises two prominent members from UNASNM at our school, including the UNASNM President and the UNASNM General Publicity Secretary, along with two distinguished Guild Executives, the Guild President, and the Information and internal/external affairs Minister. Their presence signifies SSCN's commitment to nurturing well-rounded healthcare professionals.
Our SSCN delegates embarked on their journey in the esteemed company of our sports team and arrived at Kabale on Sunday, the 10th of September, around 2 PM. Their journey not only symbolizes their dedication but also the synergy between sports and academics at SSCN.
